Tiny Tappers

Tiny Tappers is a tap dance class for children aged 3 - 5. Starting with the most basic steps in order to make it accessible to them, gradually building their repertoire, in an exciting learning environment where all children are encouraged, supported and praised for their efforts throughout every lesson.

Tap is a great way for children to learn and understand the importance of rhythm in dance. It is also a fun way to exercise, enhance coordination, build confidence and make new friends.

Lessons take place on Thursdays at 5pm in St Michael's Hall, Perranporth, where there is a separate seated area with tea and coffee facilities for parents to wait if they so wish.

Family and friends are invited to watch the children in their lessons at various points throughout the year and all children are encouraged to participate in the whole school shows which take place in December and in July.

Dance lesson pricing scheme - if a child attends one dance class per week then the cost is £7 per session. If they attend a second dance session per week then this class is reduced to £6 per session. If they do a third class (or more) per week then these classes are reduced to £5 each.  

Sibling discount - as a parent of three children myself I appreciate how expensive clubs can become! Therefore I offer a discount for all siblings and they will only ever be charged £5 for any dance session they attend.

All fees are payable termly via cash or BACS transfer. An invoice will be sent via email after the child has attended their trial session at a discounted price of £3.50 (payable on the day).

NB: There is a selection of tap shoes in various sizes available to borrow for trial sessions if required. Both new and pre loved tap shoes are also available to purchase before or after lessons.
